The Montague pattern was inspired by the gingko leaves that cascaded onto our Brooklyn street each fall. We wanted the pattern to capture that loose, ethereal feeling, but in a punchy, oversized scale. Debuted in 2004, the pattern became an instant twenty2 icon.
